Why horses? Simply put, horses are prey animals and their very survival demands that they be sensitive to emotional energy and the intention behind it. One of the key principles of equine facilitated work is that horses mirror the "feeling behind the facade." There is no room for stories or excuses. It is a powerful tool to help create more awareness about our own power, our inner core of confidence, and the energy we transmit when we are -- and are not -- in that authentic place. The horses' beauty and grace have a way of uncovering our own beauty and grace so skillfully.
